TibiaCast illegal or not?

It's a question that has been asked before: is using TibiaCast, the program that allows people to watch live broadcasts from other players, a rule violation or not? Could you get banished for using its software? Mirade's answer to a similar question might reassure a lot of uncertain players:
'... we consider it similar to Tibia cams. This means, players don't get punished for using it but we don't support it and advise players not use it since we cannot help them in case of any problems caused by the tool. So players use them on their own risk.'
So, you can continue broadcasting or watching broadcasts without having to fear to get a banishment. However, TibiaCast is NOT supported by Cipsoft, so posting links to its website on the public boards or channels is still against the rules!

First Ferumbras Victory on Unitera

Some days ago, the combined force of the Uniteran guilds Old Empire, Noah Il and Chair Kids accomplished something that hadn't been done on that world before: defeating the powerful wizard Ferumbras in his own citadel!

Even though the wizard's hat appeared to be stolen, it's still a remarkable achievement! A congratulations thread has been made here.

Zaneran Football Tournament

Rainbow Warrior from Zanera wants to organise a Football Tournament. But he still needs teams that wish to participate. Teams consist of 3 players, and joining the tournament costs 15k per team.
That may sound like a lot, but the winner will be walking home with 150k and a golden goblet for each team member. So, if you are in a for a nice match, then sign up now!

Happy Birthday ... To Us!

That's right, today is our anniversary! No less than 6 years ago, Tibianews appeared as one of the first Tibian fansites. And we've been around till this day. The last two to three years, we've had a rough ride and there are still some bumps in the road, but we're getting there. Only recently, our long promised website update finally arrived. Now we're working hard to put everything in place.

And we've learned our lesson! Instead of making a bunch of promises we might not be able to keep, we will just promise you one thing for now: daily updated shortnews. That's our birthday present to all our readers! We thank you all for the patience you've shown, sometimes even when we didn't deserve it. May there be many more years for Tibianews to come.
